The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services continues their push to get needles in arms as thousands of COVID-19 vaccine doses are at risk of expiring.
The department says 262,000 doses of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine expire in the next four weeks.
Pfizer doses begin to expire in September and Moderna doses begin to expire in October.
The state says they are working with the CDC to redistribute the doses to states that may need them.
