Mercy Health is announcing they will require their employees and contractors to get vaccinated against COVID-19.
The decision comes from their parent company, Trinity Health.
The health system is releasing rolling deadlines, however most workers will need their vaccines by September 21.
Individuals who do not show proof of vaccination by the deadline will be fired.
