GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - A single-vehicle crash on U.S. 131 near Interstate 196 has left one person dead and another with a critical injury.
It happened in the northbound lanes of 131 after 3:30 a.m.
Michigan State Police say an F-150 was involved. Originally, MSP said two people were killed.
Investigators, at this stage, are blaming poor road conditions due to heavy rain from an isolated thunderstorm this morning.
