Rockford Public Schools superintendent Mike Shibler is retiring after 32 years with the district.
Shibler says he planned to retire before the COVID-19 pandemic however chose to stay due to the unprecedented times.
His retirement will be effective December 31.
He was worked as an educator in Michigan for over 53 years.
