Governor Whitmer announced on Thursday when the administration will be lifting capacity limits on restaurants and wedding venues.
As of June 1, there will be no limits on outdoor events and indoor events will be able to be held at 50 percent capacity.
As of July 1, all capacity limits, as well as the mask mandate will be removed.
Keith Grafos, co-owner of the event space Niko's Landing in Comstock Park, says they are eager to get back to work.
Many weddings were rescheduled throughout the pandemic as no one knew when full capacity service would be offered.
