GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - A virtual forum was held last night on the proposed $546 million budget for Grand Rapids for 2021-2022.
Several people expressed anger over the GRPD's proposed budget cut, with Defund the GRPD saying that it's not deep enough.
They believe the department needs to be funded at 32 percent of city spending instead of 36 percent.
A vote is scheduled for Thursday night.
