- Michigan State Rep. Jewell Jones was reportedly found Tuesday at the scene of a collision on I-96 in Fowlerville. He allegedly was taken into police custody and housed at the Livingston County Jail in Howell. He was released Wednesday afternoon as authorities wait on test results.

1 Michigan State Police released bodycam footage on Sunday of an incident involving Democratic state Rep. Jewell Jones, who was reportedly charged with driving under the influence, resisting arrest, and weapons possession following a collision last week on Interstate 96 in Fowlerville.
The video shows police tackle a combative Jones to the ground after he physically resisted arrest and threatened to call Gov. Gretchen Whitmer. Jones can be heard reminding the officers that he had oversight of their budget as they attempt to put handcuffs on him.
Jones' blood-alcohol level was allegedly twice the legal limit. Law enforcement also discovered a Glock in the glove compartment of his vehicle, according to Fox 2 in Detroit.
2 The CDC and FDA lifted the pause on use of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine after investigating cases of blood clots.
The vaccine label is now updated to warn of the risk.
3 An extended epidemic order by the MDHHS begins today requiring children as young as TWO YEARS OLD wear masks while in gatherings at childcare facilities or camps.
Grand Rapids Public Schools said high case counts of COVID-19 is the reason for the final decision to delay an expansion of in-person learning for high school students until the end of the school year. This means that the current hybrid in-person schedule for those students will stay in place until the start of the next school year.
