The West Michigan Vaccine Clinic at DeVos Place in Grand Rapids is celebrating a record on Monday after administering 12,000 shots.
The clinic is now one step closer to hitting the one-day capacity of 20,000 COVID-19 vaccines in a day.
The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services says the Monday vaccination clinic appeared to be the largest run in the state so far.
Spectrum Health Chief Operating Officer Brian Brasser says they aren't seeing many no-shows and when it happens, they have a process in place to make sure no vaccine is wasted.
