Police are confirming the bodies they found in the wood in Portage on Friday are those of Gary and Laura Johnson.
Their deaths are being listed as homicides.
Police started searching the Gourdneck State Game Area on Friday but will not elaborate on what led them to that area.
The Johnson's 27-year-old son Nick is a person of interest in the case.
