The preliminary hearing for Derek Horton in the murder of his girlfriend Amber Griffin continued on Tuesday.
Horton is charged with open murder after Griffin went missing in late June.
Police detectives, the owner of a home believed to be connected to the case and a police dispatcher testified.
Police showed surveillance video of Horton buying a shovel at a hardware store.
The hearing will continue for a third day that has not yet been scheduled.
