The Michigan State Capitol Commission will meet Monday morning to discuss a open carry ban.
The commission will reconsider a resolution that would ban guns in the Capitol that was previously discussed last year.
Commission Chair Gary Randall says they could take action as early as Monday.
The riot at the U.S. Capitol led to Michigan Senate Majority Leader Mike Shirkey saying he would be okay with the ban.
