MUSKEGON (WOOD-AM) - Exterior work on the new convention center in Muskegon has been completed.
Officials say the new Muskegon Lakeshore Convention Center is on track to be done next March.
"We always struggled with how to get people here in the winter months in particular and what we think this will help us do is keep Muskegon as a year-round destination,” Muskegon City Manager Frank Peterson told WOOD-TV.
It's part of a broad downtown revitalization process. Pigeon Hill Brewing built its new production facility across the street.
