Restaurants looking at other options during shutdown

Restaurants in Grand Rapids are preparing for winter as well as the challenge of the epidemic order.

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services announced Sunday evening that restaurants would be required to do away with dine-in service for three weeks starting Wednesday.

Zaid Kaskorkis, the owner of Parsley Mediterranean Grill, said they are lucky to stay busy with Uber Eats, GrubHub and Door Dash orders.

Kaskorkis says they do have outdoor seating but that will be a challenge going into winter.
