A statue of President Gerald R. Ford was unveiled at the airport on Thursday.
The statue is part of the Grand Rapids Community Legends Project to honor people who helped form the area into what it is today.
Artist Brett Grill has worked on Ford sculptures before but says this one is different because its not on a pedestal so it becomes more interactive.
