WYOMING Mich. (WOOD) — Wyoming police detectives say the man involved in a standoff on Sunday evening at a Wyoming apartment complex has been charged.
Police said the suspect, who’s name wasn’t released, is facing two felony firearms charges, one count of carrying a concealed weapon and one count of resisting and obstructing.
A release from the Wyoming Department of Public Safety indicates the situation began around 6 p.m. Sunday at the Peppercorn Apartments on Woodward Ave. SW off Clyde Park Ave. SW when police received a call about an argument.
After Wyoming police arrived, they were told the suspect, who already had two arrest warrants, had gone into a nearby garage.
The report noted that after negotiating for several hours, police were able to peacefully take the man into custody.
