GRAND HAVEN, Mich. (WOOD) — Sheriff deputies in Grand Haven were searching Lake Michigan Sunday afternoon. The search was conducted at Grand Haven State Park for a missing 14-year-old boy.
Authorities said the teen was last seen in the water at the swim buoys near sign 3 at the state park, police say.
The U.S. Coast Guard was involved in the search as well.
On Sunday, all of Ottawa County, including Grand Haven, was under a beach hazard due to strong rip currents.
