Carol Simmons' hasn't heard back from the Michigan Unemployment Insurance Agency on her husband's claim since April.
The agency said last week they have fulfilled or approved more than 97 percent of claims filed since Mid-March.
Carol says that their claim is one of the 3 percent in limbo and estimates that they are owed $5,000.
