1 Governor Whitmer closed bars down for inside service yesterday. She also signed a bill allowing bars and restaurants to sell cocktails-to-go.

2 Job gain of 4.8 million in June smashes expectations; unemployment rate falls to a crisis low of 11.1%, also better than the 12.4% estimate.

3 The Department of Homeland Security announced a new task force to protect “American monuments, memorials and statues.
