ADA TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Kent County Sheriff’s deputies say one person has died after a car crash in Ada Township on Saturday evening.
Investigators said the crash happened around 11 p.m. on Pettis Avenue NE near 2 Mile Road NE.
John Holmes, 18, was identified as the driver He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Homes had recently graduated from Grand Rapids Christian High School.
Deputies say the crash remains under investigation at this time.
