Marine vet stands at attention for hours in support for Black Lives Matter

Todd Winn, a Marine veteran dressed in full uniform made national news headlines as he stood alone in a one-man protest in front of the Utah State Capitol on Friday to show support for the Black Lives Matter movement after the death of George Floyd.

Winn, a two-time Purple Heart recipient, stood at attention and also took a knee as he protested in silence for about three hours in front of the Utah State Capitol in Salt Lake City on Friday.

Winn also held a sign that read: “Justice for George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Tamir Rice, Countless Others. Accountability for Failed TTPs, E of Abuse.” morning. He wore a piece of black duct tape across his mouth that read: “I can’t breathe.”
