LANSING, Mich. (WOOD) — Michigan's Capitol Building on Thursday is once again filled with a group of protesters, demonstrating in opposition to Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s executive orders that shut down businesses and told people to stay home to slow the spread of the virus.
They have now been three protest at the state capitol. The first in mid-April mostly involved people staying in their cars and clogging traffic around the Capitol. WOOD-TV 8 said at least two protesters showed up Thursday armed with assault rifles.
Michigan State Police reminded people headed to Lansing that if troopers see anyone branching a weapon, that person could be arrested.
