GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - West Michigan NAACP chapters are demanding the resignation of a legislator who was seen last month wearing what appeared to be a confederate flag facemask on the state senate floor.
Dale Zorn, R-Ida, has since apologized. But the Grand Rapids NAACP chapter president says that's not enough.
"We cannot allow those types of behaviors to go unchecked. And so an apology is just not enough," Cle Jackson told WOOD-TV.
