The family of Breonna Taylor have filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the Louisville Metro Police Department. Taylor was shot and killed on March 13th when Louisville PD tried to serve an arrest warrant against her ex-boyfriend.
Taylor was sleeping with her boyfriend Kenneth Walker in their apartment when they heard banging on their door.
According to the family attorney, the Police did not announce themselves so the couple thought they were being burglarized.
