Protest for moderate coronavirus rules in Lansing today

LANSING, Mich. (WOOD) — Protesters are expected to converge on Lansing today at noon to show their opposition to the governor’s extended stay-at-home order.

“Operation Gridlock” is scheduled to begin at noon. Protesters aim to clog traffic around the Capitol to make their point.

Opponents to the stay-at-home order, which was extended last week through April 30, say some of Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s mandates are excessive and inconsistent.
