PETOSKEY, Mich. (WLNS) — A portion of a trail along Lake Michigan has collapsed due to erosion from high water.
The Little Traverse Wheelway in Petoskey is “falling into the lake as the wind continues and is very dangerous,” the local Parks and Recreation DepartmentpostedMonday on Facebook.
The barricades are at Magnus Park or East Park, hikers should use waterfront parks as starting points to head towards Harbor Springs or East Park to head towards Charlevoix.
