GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — October will pick up where a warm and very wet September has left off. It hasn’t only been wet in Southwest Michigan as much of the region, especially west and north, have experienced a surplus of rain this past month.
Rainfall total for September places Grand Rapids in tenth place. Out of the 127 Septembers since records have been kept, only nine have been wetter or 7%. Half the days in September received measurable rain.
