THORNAPPLE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (via WOOD TV) — At least one person was killed in a crash that shut down a stretch of M-37 just south of the Kent-Barry county line.
The crash happened around 2 p.m. on M-37/Cherry Valley Road south of 108th Avenue, south of Caledonia.
M-37 is shut down between 108th and Parmalee Road, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation.
Barry County dispatchers couldn't immediately provide any information about injuries.
Michigan State Police are handing the crash.
Dispatchers added that crews are responding to several weather-related crashes. They urged people to slow down amid snowy conditions.
