KALAMAZOO, Mich. (via WOOD TV 8) — A historic house in Kalamazoo caught fire Thursday night.
The fire broke out shortly after 9 p.m. at the house along Academy Street east of W. Michigan Avenue, dispatchers said.
Even after firefighters had been working for well over an hour, flames could still be seen leaping from the roof of the house. Crews blasted water at the top floor, where a red glow could be seen through the windows.
There were no immediate reports of injuries.
