KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — It's practically a holiday for many West Michigan beer lovers: Monday is Oberon release day.
The release of thepopular signature summer wheat aleis celebrated with events across the state, including some midnight tappings.
"I think this beer has really (struck) a cord with people in Michigan and all over the country in that it comes out every year just as winter is releasing its icy grip on us," Bell's Director of Operations John Malletttold 24 Hour News 8 Friday. "So, it's almost a sign that we've survived."
