GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Break out the yellow: LaughFest is back, delivering 10 days of “seriously funny” events to the Grand Rapids area.
This is the ninth year for the festival, which features hundreds of events, including free activities and performances.LaughFestdebuted in 2011 to supportGilda’s Club.
“We offer programming 365 days a year for those living with cancer, living with grief and everything we do at Gilda’s Club is free so LaughFest is just one way that you can support the work that we’re doing year-round for people in our community navigating life’s tough stuff,” said LaughFest Festival Director Joanne Roehm.
To raise awareness of LaughFest’s mission, people are encouraged to “yellow up” Thursday and share photos of themselves in their bright yellow gear on social media. Add "#YELLOWUP" to your post for a chance to win LaughFest tickets and prizes.
