GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Consumers Energy says it's on track to restore power to most customers by the end of Sunday, with the last of those affected going back online by midday Monday.
As of around 5:45 p.m. Sunday, the number of statewide outages was down to around 9,500; over the course of the last week, some 231,000 customers have been affected.
The majority of the remaining outages were in West Michigan, according to Consumers' interactive outages map :
- Ionia County: 5,550
- Kent County: 2,810
- Montcalm County: 1,175
