The recent onslaught of snow and cold has opened all of Michigan for your favorite snow recreations.
In the past 10 days, Grand Rapids has received 26 inches of snow. That's more than all of November, December and this month, through Jan. 18 — a total of 79 days.
On Jan. 22, we had a snow fall deficit of 21.7 inches. With the recent surge of snow, we've closed the gap to just 2.2 inches.
