GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — The city of Grand Rapids is giving residents more time to clear their sidewalks after a week of wicked winter weather, but it's not being so lenient about odd-even parking violations.
The city said Friday that it was sending workers door to door to tell people to move their cars if they had been parked in the same spot for multiple days, were buried in snow and were in violation of odd-even parking regulations. Those residents had 20 minutes to move their car or it would be towed at their expense.
