GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Grand Rapids drivers, consider this your warning: Police will be making odd-even parking a priority this snowy weekend.
“Help us keep the streets clear and your money in your pocket,” the Grand Rapids Police Department said in a tweet about the weekend enforcement.
Odd-even parking runs from 12:01 a.m. Nov. 1 through 11:59 p.m. April 1 in Grand Rapids.
This is how the city explains it:
“Odd-even parking restrictions mean that on each even numbered day starting at 1 a.m. and until 6 p.m., parking is prohibited on the odd numbered side of the street. On each odd numbered day starting at 1 a.m. and until 6 p.m., parking is prohibited on the even numbered side of the street. From 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. each day, parking is permitted on both sides of the street.”
