GREENVILLE, Mich. (WOOD) — Police and deputies are investigating a threat that forced Greenville Public Schools to divert middle school students Thursday morning.
Around 6:22 a.m., dispatchers notified the district of the threat, which was directed at Greenville Middle School. Students were already on their way to school, so administrators diverted middle school students to the high school where they were screened before being allowed into the building.
Greenville Public Schools says the student connected to the threat was on a school bus. Officials contacted the bus driver and authorities removed the student from the bus without incident.
