GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Young professionals will flock back to West Michigan to visit family for Thanksgiving, and one organization is aiming to lure them to stay.
Hello West Michigan has been hosting Rethink West Michigan events at local bars around the holiday since 2012. The networking event connects employers with prospective employees.
It worked with Olivier Tulliez.
"It's all about the connections and meeting people face to face. You meet a variety of employers and it's a relaxed setting," he said.
This year's events will run from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
"We have over 46 companies at over six different locations," Rachel Bartels with Hello Michigan explained.
