GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A section of Fuller Avenue in Grand Rapids is expected to be closed to drivers until about noon Friday after a water main break.
The break happened Thursday morning on Fuller Avenue north of Leonard Street NE. City spokesman Steve Guitar blamed Michigan’s freeze-thaw cycle for the busted 12-inch line.
Guitar says the break led to a water outage for nearby businesses, but their taps should be running again by 1:30 p.m. Thursday.
