PORTLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A head-on crash has forced the closure of an intersection in Ionia County Tuesday morning.
Ionia County dispatchers told 24 Hour News 8 the two-vehicle, head-on crash happened shortly after 6 a.m. at the intersection of David Highway and S. Keefer Highway on the border of Orange and Portland townships, southeast of Ionia.
The intersection is closed as authorities investigate and work to clear the scene. Drivers are advised to avoid the area and seek an alternative route.
