KENTWOOD, Mich. (WOOD) — Kentwood police are investigating a crash that closed a portion of Kalamazoo Avenue.
It happened Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of Kalamazoo Avenue and Mapleview Street, south of 44th Street.
Police say a vehicle veered off the road, traveling over a grassy median before hitting the other vehicle.
Police at the scene say everyone involved in the crash was taken to the hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
The crash closed the northbound lanes of Kalamazoo Avenue between 52nd and 44th streets. The roadway is expected to reopen shortly.
