SAUGATUCK, Mich. (WOOD) — Authorities have found the body of a Grand Rapids man who was last seen at a Saugatuck bar more than a week ago.
The Allegan County Sheriff’s Office said the body of 39-year-old Justin Brown was found in the Kalamazoo River Monday morning.
Brown was last seen early Saturday, Oct. 13 in Saugatuck at the Coral Gables resort, which is near where the Kalamazoo Lake flows into the Kalamazoo River. The sheriff’s office said that is the area where his body was found.
Allegan County Undersheriff Michael Larsen told 24 Hour News 8 that there were no signs of injuries that would indicate foul play. Authorities are awaiting autopsy results, which may take up to three to four days, to determine a cause of death.
The incident remains under investigation, the sheriff’s office said.
