With Millions In Hurricane Michael's Path, Storm Continues Weakening

Michael is expected to be downgraded to a tropical storm by Thursday morning.

The hurricane made landfall Wednesday, becoming the strongest storm to hit Florida's Panhandle region.  It was only a couple of miles below the standard of a Category Five storm when it reached land.

The National Hurricane Center in Miami is forecasting strong winds, rain and storm surge as Michael continues along its path.

The storm should reach east-central Georgia by Thursday morning and continue northeastward through the Carolinas before it reaches the Atlantic Ocean.

At least one person is dead and hundreds of thousands of customers do not have power.'
