FLINT, Mich. (WOOD) — Six protestors were injured after a vehicle crashed into a crowd during a rally in Flint Tuesday morning, the NBC affiliate reports.
WEYI reports that the crash happened while protestors were crossing Dort Highway in the dark Tuesday morning. Protestors were gathered outside of a McDonald’s in Flint as part of a “Fight for $15” rally.
Flint police told WEYI that six people were hit and their injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening. A Consumers Energy truck was also struck.
