GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Democrat Gretchen Whitmer will be knocking on doors in West Michigan Sunday as she ramps up her campaign for governor.
The former Michigan senator plans to kick off her canvassing effort in Wyoming around 11:30 a.m. Sunday with the president of the Service Employees International Union, Mary Kay Henry.
Whitmer also plans to canvass Kalamazoo with an immigrants right group Sunday afternoon before attending the Berrien County Democratic Party’s meet and greet event.
