KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — Firefighters are responding to a fire at a restaurant in downtown Kalamazoo.
Smoke was seen coming from the third floor of the building that houses Food Dance restaurant, located at 401 E. Michigan Avenue at the Pitcher Street intersection.
Food Dance employees said the Friday morning fire started in the kitchen and traveled through the exhaust system. Firefighters could be seen tearing open duct work to get to the fire.
