BOWNE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Authorities have determined a married couple found dead in their home were the victims of a homicide.
On Tuesday, 62-year-old Patty Syrek and 66-year-old Theodore Syrek were found dead at their home in the 9000 block of Jordan River Drive SE in Bowne Township, near Caledonia. Authorities went to the residence after a family member asked if deputies could check on the couple’s well-being.
An autopsy determined both of their deaths were caused by “blunt cranial cerebrial trauma” and were assaulted by another individual.
No arrests have been made at this time.
