BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (WOOD) — Health officials say 30 more people have been sickened with salmonella after eating Kellogg's Honey Smacks cereal.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention say a total of 130 people in 36 statescontracted the bacterial infection. That's up from July, when 100 people in 33 states had been affected.
Thirty-four people have been hospitalized since the outbreak started in March. The most recent illness was reported Aug. 7.
