BYRON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Authorities are searching for the suspects in connection to an armed robbery at a gas station in Kent county Monday morning.
The robbery happened shortly after 1 a.m. at the Speedway gas station, located at 6419 Byron Center Avenue SW in Byron Township near M-6.
The Kent County Sheriff's Department said two men armed with a handgun demanded cash and cigarettes. The suspects were able to get away with an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the scene.
Deputies say no one was injured.
