GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — History will be made Wednesday morning when Meijer opens the door to its first ever grocery store in downtown Grand Rapids.
Meijer's Bridge Street Market will officially open to the public at 8 a.m.
Residents and workers in downtown Grand Rapids have waited a long time for the market to open up shop.
The store’s website says the grocery store will have a heavy emphasis on fresh produce, local and artisan groceries, and you'll be able to find Meijer and national brand products as well.
