GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — The National Weather Service is warning beachgoers to stay out of Lake Michigan Friday and Saturday.
The NWS issued a Beach Hazards Statement for beaches from Holland to Manistee, where waves could grow as high as four to eight feet and winds could gust to 25 mph.
Beaches with particularly dangerous conditions include Grand Haven State Park and Pere Marquette in Muskegon, according to the NWS.
