GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — The Grand Rapids Public Museum is welcoming two special exhibits this fall.
One of them is a look back at the toys that have shaped this and previous generations. Museum leaders hope grandparents, parents and children will be able to enjoy the interactive "TOYS!" collection together.
"We think that play is important. It's one of the most important for kids as they're learning. It's important for all of us as adults to continue to play so we have that balance in our lives. And we think this is a great place to do it," Alex Forist, the museum's chief curator, told 24 Hour News 8. "We hope everyone will come play in the toys exhibit with us."
